One-week fantasy football with no draft and no waiting: pick a quarterback, two running backs, two receivers, a tight end, a flex and a defense from any teams playing in Week 3 (at most two from one team). How weekly fantasy works

PPR scoringPassing 0.04 per yard, 4 per TD, minus 2 per INT. Rushing and receiving 0.1 per yard, 6 per TD, 1 per catch. D/ST from points allowed plus sacks, takeaways and TDs.
Locks per playerA slot locks at that player's kickoff. Thursday players lock Thursday; you can still change Sunday and Monday slots after.
ProjectionsSeason average fantasy points per game, from real stats on this site. A guide, not a promise.
Head-to-headAt the first kickoff you are paired with another member (closest projection). Nobody free? A house bot plays you: Chalk (best projected), Homer (loads up on the hottest team) or Upset (goes deep). Wins count on your record either way.

Weekly fantasy questions

What is weekly fantasy?

A fantasy lineup that lasts one week. Pick eight players for the week's games, score PPR points from their real stats, and compare with everyone else. No draft, no season-long roster.

Can I use players from any team?

Yes, any team playing that week, with a limit of two players from the same team. Players on a bye cannot be picked.

When does my lineup lock?

Each player locks at their own game's kickoff. Until then you can swap them.

Where do projections come from?

The player's fantasy points per game this season, calculated from the stats on this site. Early in the season they move a lot.

Is there a prize?

No. Weekly fantasy is free, for bragging rights and the leaderboard.

Who do I play against?

Another member who saved a lineup that week, paired by projection at the first kickoff. If there is no one to pair with you play a house bot with its own lineup. Your season record counts both.
